The Burned
Hunter is known as one of the Burned, a race of people who endure excruciating pain as payment for magical abilities. He enjoys volunteering at orphanages and traveling around the Nameless World, but things change when he is called upon to assist the gods in tracking down and reclaiming fifteen sacred weapons, the same ones powerful enough to kill the gods. Will he succeed?
Full Color, updates weekly, comments appreciated

The Main website: 2 pages ahead
Hey, thought I'd update this here news thing.
For those of you who don't pay attention to this comic anymore... well you wouldn't be reading this. But if you ARE, then pay attention more and give some comics for gods sake! Seriously, we get comments like once every three to four pages. Makes me feel like nobody cares at all, which makes me sad, which makes me go into raving tantrums about how the world around us is crazy and how I'm the only sane person here.
Anyway, the comic is now full color and, on Smackjeeves, is up to Chapter 2 Page 15. Hooray! Wish it was further along though. XD
Sentia and Sarall have both been doing there best, and the fact that they're STILL working on the comic after this long just makes me happy. Every single other artist has dropped out within a month or two.
Anyway... Please just comment on the comic on occasion if you read this. It would make me feel so much better knowing that people are actually paying attention instead of feeling like I have 150 people with this comic just lying unread in their favs list.
Danke everybody. Have nice days, weeks, months, years... you get the idea.

Kirizaki Comics, The Burned's main website
It's been forever since I've updated the news. Ah well, I'll do it now.
A lot of things have happened since the burned started up 4-5 years ago. We lost an artist, gained another, added a colorist to the team. The SJ site has recently been updated again to look better. The character profiles have been updated, along with the affiliates page. A lot of pages have been uploaded, and a lot of them are now in color, too. I have my own website now, which hosts all of The Burned's pages.
Looking back to the beginning, the comic has come a long way, and has improved quite a bit, though I'm still kicking myself for the fact that Chapter 1 doesn't flow all too well from the chase with the guards to the battle. It still goes too fast, in my opinion. Too late to fix it now, though.
Anyway, expect more updates. And please, visit http://kirizakicomics.com/ and join the forums.

That's right, the comic is looking for a colourist to color the pages once the comic gets a hoppin' on its feet. If you're interested, P.M. me and we can talk.
