Last panel makes me think of Trauma Center for the DS. :D Which is actually probably bad news for Takeo, now that I think about it. XD

Hunter has control over the shadows. He primarily uses shadow needles for most of his attacks. He can have them explode to cause more damage, so that's what happened.
